Tokyo – Cable and satellite platform Sky PerfecTV! has teamed with telco NTT DoCoMo to launch new mobile channel Sukapa! Keitai TV on April 21, 2007. Translating as Sky PerfecTV! Mobile TV, Sukapa! Keitai TV mobile channel offers content from various Sky PerfecTV! satellite channels to mobile users. An application downloaded from the DoCoMo i-mode website has to be installed on mobile devices to receive the channel. The service will be accessible to users of DoCoMo 900 to 905i or 700 to 705i handsets. Programming from Sky PerfecTV!, video-on-demand and promotional content are available, including match highlights from the Japanese professional football league J-League. Promotional content is being offered for free while Sky PerfecTV! programs and VOD offerings are priced at Y315 (US$3.10), Y525 (US$5.20) or Y1050 (US$10.50). Acquired content may be viewed for up to one month.
