London – 2waytraffic International will present a new series of its comedy entertainment property, Commercial Breakdown at MIPTV and has announced deals closed for the format and completed series. The new run of (7 X 30’) Commercial Breakdown is the 11th series. Titled Commercial Breakdown with Jimmy Carr, it features unique advertisements from around the world and is hosted by UK comedian Jimmy Carr. The series was produced by Celador Productions for BBC One. In a recent deal, Australia’s Nine Network created a localized version of the format which uses commercials and scripts from the UK series to create a series (12 x 30’) hosted by former Australian rules football player-turned-presenter Dermott Brereton. And in a new deal that takes Commercial Breakdown’s number of territories to 17, New Zealand’s Sky NZ acquired the three most recent series.
