Hong Kong – Yvonne Chuang will join STAR as vice president, program syndication and distribution from March 10, 2008. Reporting to Laureen Ong, COO of STAR, Chuang will oversee syndication and home video distribution of STAR’s content library worldwide, including contemporary Chinese movie library, the Fortune Star library, as well as more than 20,000 hours of Indian and Chinese programming from STAR’s channels in India and Greater China. Chuang was formerly vice president, acquisition and distribution at Celestial Pictures Ltd where she was responsible for sales and distribution of the Shaw Brothers library, as well as acquisition and distribution of films from other studios across Asia.
