Mumbai – Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) has opened a new TV licensing office in Mumbai and appointed Leena Lele Dutta as Director of Licensing to head the new Indian office. Reporting to Ross Pollack, Senior Vice President, Distribution, Asia, SPTI, Dutta will be responsible for the licensing of SPTI’s series and features, along with the company’s growing lineup of international productions to traditional and new media partners in India. Pollack noted, “The opening of our licensing office in Mumbai is the second one in 2007 (after Seoul, Korea) and further demonstrates our commitment to servicing our clients in the markets in which they operate.” Dutta joins SPTI from Ten Sports India Limited where she was Associate Vice President, Advertising Sales since 2002.
