Cannes – Disney-ABC International Television Japan (Minato-ku, Tokyo: Managing Director Paul Candland) and USEN CORPORATION (USEN, Minato-ku, Tokyo: President & CEO Yasuhide Uno) announced that they have successfully signed a Video On-Demand rental agreement to provide major titles from DAIT’s portfolio over USEN’s broadband entertainment service “GyaO”, “GyaO NEXT” and “ShowTime”. Serial broadcasting commenced from September 8, 2007. With this agreement, subscribers to USEN’s on-demand service can enjoy box-office hits such as Face/Off, Armageddon and The Sixth Sense. TV series including the Golden Globe winning hits Lost and Desperate Housewives will also be available on this service.
