2waytraffic International has acquired global distribution rights to The Real Fame Game, the hit gameshow format from Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation (YTV), and will be bringing it to MIPCOM. Under the terms of the deal, 2waytraffic will adapt the show for western audiences, distribute the format globally, and leverage the format across multiple platforms. The Real Fame Game was successful on Japan’s YTV since launch in 1997. It is a light-hearted and irreverent look at celebrities and celebrities’ perception of themselves as they compete in a series of rounds which test how well the public know them.
