Sydney- The Seven Network/Yahoo online venture Yahoo!7 has appointed m.Net Corporation as its provider of mobile marketing and distribution solutions. Under the three-year deal, m.Net will distribute content from Yahoo!7, Seven Network, and Pacific Magazines, with a particular focus on video. m.Net Chief Marketing Officer Scott Johnson said m.Net would work seamlessly with Yahoo!7 as part of its sales and marketing team to provide mobile solutions support for advertisers. This continued investment signifies Yahoo!7’s confidence in the mobile advertising marketplace, which is set to reach A$350 million in Australia over the next two years, Johnson said. m.Net will continue to manage the Home & Away WAP site through carrier portals; oversee the existing Mobile Value Added Services marketplaces; and provide quality assurance and certification for Y!7 mobile products. Yahoo!7 claims 5.1 million users each month.
