Sydney- Seven Media Group’s Pacific Magazines has acquired four of Time Inc.’s major Australian magazines, including Who, Practical Parenting and Bride to Be, for a reported A$90 million (US$77.1 million). News Corp. was the under-bidder, according to local media reports. Pacific Magazines has entered into a long-term license agreement with Time Inc. for the publication of InStyle in Australia and New Zealand. Celebrity weekly Who will continue to access editorial from the U.S. People mag under a long-term license agreement. Pacific Magazines CEO Nick Chan said the newly-acquired mags’ editorial, sales and marketing teams would remain in place.
