London- Themed channel operator Zonemedia has acquired two reality series from New Zealand producer Eyeworks Touchdown via distributor Eyeworks Distribution. Hit New Zealand series Miss Popularity and Treasure Island: Couples at War will air on Zonemedia’s Zone Reality feeds throughout Asia and EMEA. Miss Popularity features 10 New Zealand women who are sent to a luxury hotel in South Australia to be pampered until they are suddenly transported in a van into the Outback and left there to face challenges in the wild. They then compete to win over the locals to be crowned Miss Popularity. Treasure Island: Couples At War runs over ten weeks as eight couples compete to win $50,000 on an island in the South Pacific by finding buried treasure.
