Hong Kong- Warner Music is teaming up with MTV Networks Asia to bring LPTV, a reality show centering on rock group Linkin Park, to audiences in Asia. Starting June 1, MTV viewers can purchase and download 15 and counting of LPTV’s full-length episodes from mtvasia.com for US$ 1.99 per episode. Each ep runs 7-8 minutes. The VoD platform is deployed and managed by Digital Connect, which is also providing encryption and back-end support for the LPTV downloads. One of the world’s top alternative rock/metal bands. Linkin Park recently released the album Minutes to Midnight worldwide through Warner Music. As part of the album launch campaign, Linkin Park is producing a series of reality shows called LPTV, featuring footage of the recording sessions, life on the road and crazy behind-the-scene moments. The band is performing in Jakarta on June 13 and in Singapore on June 22.
