Singapore-Village Roadshow Pictures, the L.A.-based production arm of Australia’s Village Roadshow, is the latest producer/distributor to sign up with new VoD service ANYTIME on VOLT. The deal gives ANYTIME the Australian and New Zealand rights to a range of VRP’s films, most of which are co-produced with Warner Bros. First batch of titles available on ANYTIME on VOLT and through the ANYTIME movie channel on TransACT’s TransTV (and the soon to be launched MyNexus service with Regional Internet Australia), includes Firewall, Rumor Has It, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Zoolander. Movies typically cost $A3.50 – $A5.95 (US$2.90 – US$4.95).
