Singapore – Sony Electronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd will sponsor a 13 part 30-minute new travel and food series, World Café: Asia, on Discovery Networks Asia's Discovery Travel & Living channel.
 
The host, chef Bobby Chinn, travels to 13 destinations across Asia including China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Vietnam to feature local cuisine and recipes in each city. World Café: Asia airs Tuesdays at 2000hrs (SIN/HK) on Discovery Travel & Living channel.

Also, a microsite (www.discoverhdmedia.com) and an online contest offering two Sony HD Handycam camcorders and recording media as prizes have been launched with the latter open till May 20. Discovery will create three Sony-branded vignettes highlighting lifestyle elements of Sony's HD product range to be aired on Discovery Channel's and Discovery Travel & Living's Southeast Asian and Taiwan feeds.
