Australian networks battle over veteran programmer
The Australian reports that Australia’s Network Ten has hit back at Kerry Stokes’ Seven West Media, saying it will not be bullied in the court dispute over programming executive, John Stephens. After 11 years at Seven, Stephens, 67, had announced he was joining Ten earlier in March, but reneged on the decision shortly afterwards, blaming it on the influence of painkillers. Los Angeles - Qantas has announced a partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Television and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products to bring the American comedy series Modern Family to film in Australia. Qantas will fly the cast and crew from Los Angeles in February as the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan takes a vacation down under for an episode to be broadcast later this season.
