Xinhua launches English-language TV channel
China’s Xinhua News Agency has launched a 24-hour global English television news service, CNC World. CNC, or China Xinhua News Network Corporation, will broadcast the English-language channel to "the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, North America and Africa by satellite, cable, cellphone and the internet."
