Kuala Lumpur - Sea Providence or Re Lang Dao (Mandarin for Redang Island) is in production, a joint venture between China Central Television, Chinese production company Jingzhilu, and Malaysia's VL Film Productions.The 24-episode Mandarin serial is centred on the December 26, 2004 tsunami, revolving around a group of tourists who find themselves caught in the disaster and how their lives change after that.
