Israel's Channel 2 Reshet has picked up the format to The Amazing Race (TAR) which is distributed internationally by Disney ABC International Television (DAIT). To be produced in the Hebrew language by Asia-based active TV, the show's Hebrew title translates literally as 'Race to a Million' and is currently in pre-production. More Australians watched subscription television over the week of July 27 - August 3 2008 than any other week in the industry's history, with STV channels reaching a record 5.5 million viewers.
