Nine acquires broadcast rights for cricket series
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has agreed a broadcast deal for Australia’s next two Ashes tours of England with Australian broadcaster Nine Entertainment Co. The deal includes exclusive rights in Australia to the Investec Ashes Series and the Royal London one-day international series and NatWest International T20 matches in 2015 and 2019. HKTV reports HK$40m loss
Hong Kong Television Network has reported a loss of HK$40.3 million for the year ended August 31, according to The Standard. The report added that HKTV said HK$531.3 million has been invested in fixed assets, but that capital expenditure has slowed down.
