Hong Kong - Asia's top 40 pay-TV operators added 5.8 million net new subscribers during the six months to end-June 2009, according to latest research from Media Partners Asia (MPA). Judge rejects MediaCorp’s objections to Astro logo
Singapore - Malaysia's Astro All Asia Networks will be permitted to register its logo with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. MediaCorp News had objected that they felt the Astro logo was too similar to that of its Channel NewsAsia (CNA) channel brand, which might cause confusion in the marketplace.
