53.6 million Japanese use mobile phones to access the Internet
Tokyo- In Japan, 53.6 million people were using a mobile device to access the Internet, a fraction lower than the 53.7 million who accessed the Internet from either a home or a work computer in June 2007. That’s according to a new report by comScore, which studied 3,100 people aged 15 and over. It found checking email is the most common Internet activity from mobile phones, used by 75%, while 41% checked email at least once a day.
