MUMBAI & NEW YORK – One Life Studios has announced the major license of Indian historical drama TV series Porus across multiple international territories. Porus previously premiered on Sony Entertainment Television in India on November 2017 and has been a top-rated show since its premiere.
The historical mega series has now been licensed to Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, and Myanmar in a deal with JKN Global Media, and to Indonesia in a license deal with Soraya Intercine Films. These are the latest sales for the hugely popular series. Including India, Porus is now available in 10 countries across Asia. As previously announced, it was also sold to Sri Lanka and Thailand.
In this legendary TV drama series, One Life Studios brings to the screen one of the most iconic rulers of ancient India, Emperor Porus, in his great face-off against the Western invader known as Alexander the Great.
