SEOUL, KOREA – CJ E&M has introduced medical comedy A Poem a Day, combining literature and comedy into television series. The recent drama is drawing rave reviews for its new attempt.

 

Unlike other medical dramas covering lives of doctors, the series follow the various hospital staff like physical therapist, radiologist and trainees. Starring Lee Yu-bi as a contract physical therapist who enjoys reading and writing poetry, each episode includes a poem that comforts many viewers. Producer Han Sang-jae said, “With the power of poetry, it tells a story of professionals who have been rarely shown in K-drama.”
