HONG KONG – Global Vision Media Technologies Co. Ltd. has entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing NavInfo Technology Co. Ltd (“NavInfo”), a leading digital map and navigational service provider, to complement resources and jointly develop satellite-integrated connected-car navigational products and services for China’s vehicle markets in areas such as location-based services, networking, autonomous driving, big-data and other business applications.
NavInfo is China’s largest and world’s third largest digital map, navigational, and big-data services provider, dominating the mainstream vehicle users and led China’s pre-installed car navigation market for 13 consecutive years including BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Volvo, Ford, SAIC, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai and Peugeot in China. Business in the consumer electronics and mobile Internet market accounts for more than 50% market share for many years, which include services to Tencent Map, Baidu Map, Sogou Map, HERE Platform, Map Bar, Tiger Map, Navigation Dog, Map of Heaven and thousands of other digital map applications with more than 150 million people accessing every day.
