Los Angeles and Madrid – CBS Studios International and Telefonica Spain have announced their first multi-year licensing deal for the exclusive SVOD rights to a selection of CBS and Showtime series. Titles will be available on Movistar Series, Telefonica’s new SVOD service, which launched in Spain on December 10.
Included in the deal is Showtime’s psychological thriller, Penny Dreadful, Ray Donovan and this year’s winner of the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series, Drama, The Affair.
CBS’s groundbreaking series, Under The Dome, The Good Wife and the #2 new series on U.S. network television this season, Madam Secretary, will also be available on the new SVOD service, along with a number of classic series like Twin Peaks and Medium.
