Portugal and China Commission The Green Project

August 29, 2014 by TVA Editor

Portuguese broadcaster, SIC, has commissioned 13 hourly episodes of Armoza’s comedy sketch photo The Green Project and has entered production, ready to air from October in a weekly prime time slot. Chinese channel, Hunan TV, have also licensed the show in partnership with Legend Media.

The Green Project

The show that makes any sketch possible has also aired to successful ratings on Israel’s HOT, Argentina’s Telefe, Norway’s NRK and Uruguay’s Channel 10, among others.

The Green Project, developed by HOT, puts a unique spin on the traditional sketch comedy genre, with limitless locations and characters through the use of green screen technology, allowing comedians’ imaginations to run free and perform sketches anywhere and at any time. The cast of comedians head to the studio with only a prop closet and a green screen at their disposal, and create and perform an endless collection of hilarious sketches against any backdrop they can imagine.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats said, “We are happy to be growing our relationships with SIC and Hunan TV, and to be working with them to make The Green Project for their audiences. Along with the technology and ready-prepared ideas that we provide, this show gives comedians the ability to realize all the punch lines and sketches they never thought would be possible.”
