Hong Kong – Bloomberg Television names Angie Lau as lead anchor for its award-winning daily morning business news programme, which will be re-launched as First Up with Angie Lau in February.

Angie Lau
Born in Hong Kong, Angie Lau is a multi-award winning journalist with over 16 years of reporting experience. She has interviewed top business newsmakers including fund manager Mark Mobius, British fashion designer Sir Paul Smith and Chinese yacht club billionaire Wang Dafu, among others. Angie joined Bloomberg Television in Hong Kong from the Chicago bureau and has spent most of her broadcast career in Canada and the United States. She has been recognized by the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists for Best Government Reporting, Best Consumer Reporting and Best Investigative Report. She is currently Correspondent Governor at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Hong Kong.
