Singapore and Edinburgh – August Media Holdings has signed a deal with Norway’s Kool Produktion to co-produce the second series of animated pre-school series Ella Bella Bingo. Kool Produktion will be responsible for all Scandinavian rights of the first and second series of show, while August Rights—August Media Holdings’ newly launched distribution arm—will handle international sales.

In Singapore and Edinburgh, August Media Holdings’ subsidiary Red Kite Animation will oversee the development and production of the second series of Ella Bella Bingo. August Media, which expects to finalise its animation studio in Singapore in the coming weeks, will be giving the show a new improved look.

Targeted at kids from ages 3-5, Ella Bella Bingo is a 2D flash animated series about the charismatic and creative Ella, and the playful kids and eccentric adults in her life. It will be executive produced by Jyotirmoy Saha and Ken Anderson (August Media Holdings) and Frank Mosvold (Kool Produktion). The new series will start production next month and is set to launch in next year.

August Media Holdings will be based at the Singapore Pavilion, hosted by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA), at MIPCOM 2012.
