Hong Kong – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) today launch two new TV channels, ESPN HD (Ch.672) and ESPNEWS (Ch.673), exclusively on now TV. ESPNEWS is the first 24×7 sports news channel to be developed for Asian viewers, delivering latest sports news and live updates round-the-clock, from around the world, while ESPN HD features a lineup of major sporting events such as Wimbledon, F1 and FA Cup, giving viewers dedicated, full service HD sports coverage. In the near future, PCCW and ESS will also be introducing the Mobile ESPN live streaming service, which will deliver full live streaming of sports content to enhance the existing Mobile ESPN service to PCCW mobile customers. In addition, an online portal with live and on-demand sports content, known as the ESPN Player, will also be launched.
