Singapore – Disney Media Distribution has extended its license arrangement with Malaysia’s government-managed national broadcast network, Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), to air a selection of popular Disney animated content over two of the leading free-to-air national channels in Malaysia – TV1 and TV2. Viewers across Malaysia can now continue to enjoy some of the biggest global box-office hit animated movies from Pixar and the Walt Disney Studios such as Aladdin, Pocahontas, Ratatouille and The Jungle Book 2. Disney’s movies and programs have been telecast over RTM’s national channels since 2009. The package also includes a choice of Disney’s pre-school series and TV movies including Tinkerbell, Mulan 2 and Tarzan 2. All programs will be available to viewers across Malaysia in both English as well as Bahasa Malaysia.
