Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT announced an agreement was signed with GlobeCast for the provision of capacity in supporting the delivery of the Asian Games. MEASAT will provide a total of two transponders on MEASAT-3 / 3a satellites to GlobeCast for its broadcast customers, to distribute the Asian Games 2010 from November 12 – 27. Asian Games 2010, also known as XVI Asiad, is taking place in Guangzhou, China. A total of 45 countries is taking part in 476 events from 42 sports. Held every four years, the Asian Games is the world’s second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games.
