Kuala Lumpur – ESPN STAR Sports and Panasonic announced their partnership to showcase a top selection of live matches from the season’s Barclays Premier League in 3-D in Malaysia on Astro. The initiative marks a major milestone in the Asian sports broadcasting industry as ESPN STAR Sports and Astro work together to bring the 3-D broadcast of select BPL live matches this season on Astro B.yond. The integrated sponsorship deal will see Panasonic enjoy dedicated exposure on ESPN STAR Sports’ broadcast of the BPL as an associate sponsor for three years, and includes branded content during the live matches, reaching out to sport fans in Malaysia and across Asia. Panasonic will also have extended on-ground exposure at ESPN Grandstand outdoor viewing events, and on ESPN’s Scorecast, the popular weekend football show that features an extensive wealth of facts and the most updated statistics to help shape projections before the big games hosted by presenter Andy Penders and his team of football experts.
