Poh’s Kitchen (40 x 30’) will premiere in Central and South East Asia, following a recent sale to Discovery Asia by ABC Commercial. The cooking series will screen in territories including Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and The Philippines. “We are always on the look-out for fresh, new talent, and with her vibrancy and spontaneity, Poh will resonate well with our viewers in Asia-Pacific. She is a great new face to have on TLC, and we believe our viewers will agree once they see her in action,” said Charmaine Kwan, vice president – programming, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific. Presenter and artist, Poh Ling Yeow, welcomes world renowned chefs into her kitchen where they share their tips and techniques. Each episode is full of original recipes and insight into the culture and tradition behind some of the world’s favourite dishes. Poh also travels across Australia and to her native Malaysia, to follow her family ties and share traditional family cooking secrets…always with a sprinkling of Poh-inspired fun on the side.
