Jakarta – Private news station Metro TV has launched its new corporate slogan ‘Knowledge to Elevate’, says The Jakarta Post. “We hope that in the future Metro TV can provide people with enlightening information to enhance their lives,” said Suryopratomo, news director. Suryopratomo added that the new slogan would be represented in the station’s programs as well as in its corporate culture to fulfil the public demand for quality programs. 1,200 of the station’s employees would undergo training to empower them to reflect the sentiment of the slogan in their work, he said. Established 10 years ago, Metro TV, which aired the county’s first news show, was founded by businessman and politician Surya Paloh. The new slogan replaces ‘Be smart, be informed’.
