New York – Sundance Channel has scheduled a marathon for film fans in Europe and Asia. In celebration of the 2010 Academy Awards ceremony, the channel will air a marathon of its celebrity talkfest, In the House with Peter Bart and Peter Guber, on 6 March 2010, featuring multiple Best Picture nominated films, as well as exclusive interviews with 15 of this year’s nominees. Each back-to-back episode of the film industry news/interview show will pair Bart and/or Guber with another industry icon for a must-watch build-up to the Oscars. Featured nominee interviews include Morgan Freeman (Invictus), Kathryn Bigelow, Mark Boal & Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), Gabourey Sidible & Lee Daniels (Precious), Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones), Quentin Tarantino & Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Carey Muligan (An Education), Helen Mirren & Christopher Plummer (The Last Station), Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart), Woody Harrelson (The Messenger) and Colin Firth (A Single Man).
