Paris – Moonscoop, the worldwide brand management and entertainment company representing properties from some of the leading animation producers across the globe, has scored a major deal with Chutti TV, Sun TV’s kids channel in India. The broadcaster has acquired 725 half hours of programming from the Moonscoop catalogue. The deal includes new series Geronimo Stilton which is co-produced and co-distributed with Atlantyca Entertainment, Gasp from SLR Productions, Dive Olly Dive, Ava Riko Teo and Bunny Maloney as well as established favourites Code Lyoko and Titeuf. Lionel Marty, president, worldwide sales at Moonscoop said, “This is a significant package deal with Chutti TV across our key titles. It gives us great pleasure in doing business with Sun TV Network Ltd. which is one of the major television broadcasters in India with a presence of over twenty channels across four regional languages. Our shows have an increasing presence in Asia and Grace Lee, our VP Sales for the Asia region who negotiated this deal, will be looking to build on this with further deals over the coming months.”
