CNN International turned its attention to the Gulf in its latest i-List series focusing on the Kingdom of Bahrain. Last week’s special programming uncovered some of the economic, social, cultural and political developments currently shaping Bahrain and positioning the Kingdom for the future. CNN’s Richard Quest presented his show Quest Means Business from a number of live locations across the capital Manama throughout the week at 3am Hong Kong time. On Tuesday and Wednesday the show aired from the Formula 1 circuit ahead of the first race of the season. CNN Marketplace Middle East’s John Defterios also joined Quest on the show every day to give his economic and business updates from across the Middle East, and presented his Marketplace Middle East show on 12 March from Bahrain. Other highlights from the week are interviews with the Crown Prince His Highness Shaik Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Minister of Finance Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Shaikh Salman bin Rashid al Khalifa, a member of the Bahraini Royal Family and an international F3 race car driver, among others.
