Hong Kong – TVB-Jade will be airing The Beauty of the Game, a drama series that raises public awareness on the dire consequences of drug abuse beginning December 14. Sponsored by the Narcotics Division (ND) and the Action Committee Against Narcotics (ACAN), the series comprises 20 episodes and will run for four consecutive weeks from Monday to Friday at 9.30pm. According to local news reports, the Hong Kong government has been carrying out publicity and preventive education by using different platforms and channels to promote anti-drug messages. In view of the far-reaching influence of television drama series, the ND and ACAN commissioned TVB to produce The Beauty of the Game. The story highlights television actresses who use drugs in order to release pressure and escape reality but in the end, both their careers and lives are ruined.
