London – Target Entertainment Group has sold a package of UK dramas to Foxtel’s new murder mystery channel 13th Street, part of the Universal Networks International channel group. The Australian channel, which launched in November 2009 has acquired eight titles, totalling over 60 hours of programming, from a range of UK independent production companies, including Tiger Aspect Productions, Ecosse Films and STV Productions. Amongst the titles are the long running crime series Taggart, produced by STV Productions for ITV1; McCallum (9×120′), about the dark and dangerous world of a leading forensic pathologist, also produced for ITV1 by STV Productions, and Seesaw (2×60’/1×120′) an STV Productions/Film and General production for ITV1 about the trauma of kidnap.
