Sydney – According to Nick Falloon, executive chairman of Australia’s Ten Network, the television advertising market is continuing to improve, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. Falloon told shareholders that there are healthy signs of a return in the television advertising market, and that the company had concluded talks over rates with the advertising buyer groups. Addressing the company’s annual general meeting, Falloon said he was confident that Ten would achieve its goal of a 30 percent share of the AUS$3.5 billion (US$3.2 billion) capital city TV ad market next year. Falloon said he hoped analysts’ forecasts of growth in the TV ad market of up to 5 percent next year would come to pass.
