Istanbul – Nine women recruited for a Big Brother-style reality TV show, were confined to a two-storey villa as footage of them scantily clad was being distributed over the internet and offered as paid content via mobile. Unfortunately for them, contracts they had signed waived any contact with friends or family, and subjected them to a hefty US$34,000 fine if they left the show before two months. According to local news reports, the women had responded to an advertisement for contestants for a reality show that would be aired on a Turkish TV station.
