Singapore – SingTel announced it has launched the world’s first web-based Remote Content Management service. This service allows businesses to record, monitor and manage live broadcasts from multiple TV and radio channels received via SingTel’s Bukit Timah satellite earth station. The Remote Content Management service provides users with real-time alerts whenever selected programmes and advertisements are aired, capturing the precise details of broadcasts in customisable reports. It can also be configured to automatically detect specific keywords, as well as capture captions and teletext. The Remote Content Management service is available on a monthly subscription basis. It is a product of SingTel’s new Broadcast Innovation Centre (BIC), a state-of-the-art facility that was launched in June 2009.
