Singapore – BBC Worldwide Channels announced a new agreement to distribute BBC World News on Qook TV, KT Corp’s brand for its residential services, such as landline telephony, internet and IPTV, in South Korea. The feed will go live tomorrow, 17 September 2009. With the addition of World News, Qook TV’s viewers will have access to the latest world news including current affairs programmes specifically targeted at the Asian market including Asia Business Report. The channel will be available on channel 353 on Qook TV, reaching an additional 350,000 subscribers in South Korea.
