Hong Kong – SPENA continued its run in Q2 with glowing viewership results for its two landmark channels across Asia. Q2 saw AXN experience strong viewership growth of 19%, with a 25% growth for the 6pm-1am primetime slots. Specifically, PMEB viewership jumped 13% for the full day and 19% for primetime, evidencing success in the channel’s strategy of appealing to its target audience of the upscale and affluent. Animax also had great viewership results in Q2. Amongst its target audience of youth viewers aged 15-24, Animax saw a 10% viewership increase for the full day and 28% for the 6pm-12mn primetime slots.
