Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT announced it had reached agreement with Maxis Communications Bhd (Maxis), Malaysia’s leading mobile telecommunications operator, on the renewal of a long-term multiple transponder lease for capacity on the MEASAT-3 satellite. Maxis, which currently operates in three key Asian markets, collectively serving over 30 million customers, offers a comprehensive range of communications services, including mobile and fixed line telecommunications, value-added data and content services, wireless and fixed line broadband services and international gateway services.
