Turner Entertainment Networks Asia, Inc. (TENA) announced the appointment of Jennifer Doig as regional PR director. She replaces Ranjita Menon who is taking some time off and remaining in Hong Kong for the time being. Based in Turner’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Doig will oversee public relations for all of Turner’s entertainment brands including Cartoon Network, Boomerang, POGO, Turner Classics Movies and WB Channel, and will report directly to Lucien Harrington, vice president of branding and communications. Doig joins TENA from Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Hong Kong where she served as director for five years and spearheaded Asia’s first dedicated Travel, Tourism and Entertainment (TTE) Practice among multinational PR firms in the region. Some of her achievements include the launch of Cirque du Soleil’s first permanent show in Asia and the launch of Madame Tussauds in Shanghai. She also managed the Ogilvy PR network across 11 Asian markets for the grand opening of Hong Kong Disneyland.
