Bhutan – Bhutan held its first annual media awards in the capital, Thimpu, last week with the national broadcaster BBS picking up three awards. The best anchor award went to BBS TV presenter Dawa, who hosts live debates and panel discussions, while BBS TV producer, Neten Dorjee won the award for the best TV programme of the year. Damcho Wangchuk, a BBS radio producer, walked away with the award for the most informative radio programme.
