Hong Kong – President Entertainment at STAR Group Limited, Todd Lituchy resigned from the company Friday March 6 effective immediately. The suddenness of Lituchy’s departure, just over a year after his arrival from Viasat, took many by surprise. Anyone e-mailing him this week received an out of office auto-reply simply stating: “Thank you for your email. Todd Lituchy no longer works at STAR” His duties are being assumed by programming VP’s Jennifer Batty and Brian Lau, as well as STAR Group COO Laureen Ong. STAR spokesperson says that Lituchy decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Sources tend to agree this is the case, with Lituchy’s confirmed exit from STAR and anticipated departure from Hong Kong being for personal reasons rather than any specific problems at STAR.
