Turner Entertainment Networks Asia, Inc. (TENA) has announced the promotion of Mark Eyers to the new position of vice president for content. In his new role, Eyers will oversee all aspects of TENA’s content business, including scheduling, acquisitions, programming operations, presentation, original production & development and new brands/business initiatives. Eyers was previously the executive director of programming, and was responsible for implementing a unified vision across all programming functions, including operations, acquisitions and development for Cartoon Network, POGO and Boomerang channels in Asia Pacific. Eyers joined TENA’s creative services team in August 2004 as associate creative director, overseeing the creative element for regional sponsorship and promotions. He was instrumental in transforming the on-air identity of six Cartoon Network feeds to align with all international markets. In January 2007, Eyers assumed leadership of the programming strategy and scheduling team and has been constantly taking on additional responsibilities on TENA content functions.
