California/Hong Kong – Accedo Broadband and Paramount Digital Entertainment announced that they will begin releasing Telco-TV games based on the classic titles Top Gun and Saturday Night Fever. The deal marks the first time that Hollywood-branded games will be available to the growing Telco-TV and IPTV audiences across Asia. The territories include Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, China, India and Malaysia. Subscribers to Accedo’s Funspot Game channels will be able to play these games with their remote control on their TV and set top boxes. “We are excited about developing our relationship with Paramount Digital Entertainment,” says Mark Adams, Accedo’s VP of business development for Asia. “They see the huge potential of Telco-TV games and newer platforms. We have the ability to deliver innovative game concepts to demanding subscribers in Asia while they have a library of classic movie brands with appeal across all demographic groups.”
