Los Angeles – Guy Oranim, CEO of BabyFirst announced that BabyFirst has formed BFTV Productions, an in-house unit established to produce original television programming expressly for the preschool market. Arik Kerman, senior vice president of programming for BabyFirst and the executive responsible for the channel’s programming, will serve as general manager of BFTV Productions. Programming produced by BFTV Productions will be offered to preschool broadcasters worldwide. Making its debut at MIP-TV’s kids’ pre-market venue MIP Junior, BFTV Productions rolls out with two original preschool properties, The Greenies and Hello Around The World. The Greenies (5′ X 26) is a non-dialogue series that presents three lovable characters who learn to appreciate and protect the planet in various funny adventures. Hello Around The World (3’X39) teaches young viewers how to say hello in different languages.
