Endemol International announced that Mike Morley has decided to step down as senior executive director, commercial and creative affairs, from August 2008. Mike has been with Endemol for seven years during which time he has held a number of key senior management positions. These have included being managing director of Endemol Poland before moving on to head up Endemol’s Global Creative team and oversee all the group’s international format sales, distribution and programme acquisitions. He was appointed senior executive director, commercial and creative affairs at Endemol International in 2005. Marco Bassetti, chief operating officer at Endemol adds: “Mike has been enormously influential in developing our commercial and creative business, particularly in relation to brands like Deal or No Deal which he marketed into more than 40 countries and most recently the phenomenally successful launch of our new hit Wipeout which he has helped nurture.”
